Guest Speaking

David Fraccaro Guest Speaking

David grew up in small towns in the Midwest, then headed to New York City to be an actor and singer. He witnessed 9-11 on the morning of an audition, and was forever changed. He began regularly visiting asylum seekers in detention centers on the outskirts of NYC airports, and was inspired to quit acting and pursue education and work at the intersection of religion and international human rights.

He has led several faith communities and nonprofits since then, developing internationally award winning initiatives (Community ID and Stranger to Neighbor programs) with the goal of building bridges of trust and cooperation between people of different cultures, faiths, and nationalities.

He has provided hundreds of trainings to government, health, and social service agencies, and has been a guest speaker at numerous universities including Guilford College, UNC-Wilmington, and Iowa State University. He was chosen as an inagural speaker for Greensboro's TEDx talks, a featured "God Talks" speaker , and received the Audience Choice Grand Prize Winner for the inagural CFGG Future Fund competition.

David is available to speak to groups about the power of unlikely friendships and how to build bridges with those different from you in a way that makes the world a better place for all of us.
